Shuyu Lui

Shuyu Lui – Postdoctoral Associate

Shuyu is from Beijing, China. After having bachelor and master degrees in Environmental Sciences, she switched to developmental biology, a more basic research focused field, and did her PhD in the Rawlins lab at University of Cambridge. Her PhD work in Emma’s lab focused on understanding cell morphology of an epithelial progenitor population during human lung development. Early 2023, Shuyu moved to Duke and is continuing working on understanding lung epithelial cells from the cell morphology point of view.
