Eric Nguyễn – Research Technician I

Eric is from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. He started living abroad once he turned 15, spending 7 years in Singapore and almost 6 years in the US! Eric graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. After graduation, he joined Dr. Schumacher’s lab at Duke University and investigated various protein structures and microbial pathogenicity. His main interest is in cancer, so he decided to join Tata’s lab to learn more about carcinogenesis and potential cancer treatment. In his free time he enjoys playing chess at various libraries in Durham, playing with his cat, and biking.
